1. Acceptance
These terms apply to the Paymitra Android app, this website and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Paymitra.
3. The service
Paymitra helps you record and understand your spending. You can type payments in your own words or let the app read payment alerts you allow. It sorts your records, shows reports and insights, and answers questions through Mitra, its AI assistant.
- AI can make mistakes. Review your records and correct anything that looks wrong.
- Paymitra does not give financial, tax or legal advice.
4. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep your device and Google account secure, and set an app lock. You are responsible for activity on your account.
5. Plans, trials and billing
- Paymitra offers a Free plan and paid Plus and Pro plans.
- Each Google account can get one 14-day Pro trial, even if the Paymitra account is deleted and created again. No card is needed for the trial.
- Paid plans are subscriptions bought through Google Play. They renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time in Google Play. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds follow Google Play policies.
- Prices are set by region. We may change prices, and we will tell you before we do.
6. Fair use
Plans include allowances, which are shown in the app. Automated or abusive use may be limited.
7. Your content
You own your records. You give us only the rights needed to process the AI requests you make, as described in our privacy policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal, harmful or fraudulent.
- Try to get around plan limits or usage controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where the law allows it.
- Use bots, scripts or other automated tools to access the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Resell or sublicense the Service.
9. Availability and changes
AI features need an internet connection and depend on outside providers. We don't promise the Service will always be available or error free. We may add, change or remove features over time.
10. Payment alert access
Letting Paymitra read payment alerts is your choice, and you can turn it off any time in Android settings. You are responsible for making sure this use complies with your bank's terms.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that AI output will be accurate or complete, or that you will save money.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Paymitra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Termination
You can stop using Paymitra and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Records on your phone stay with you.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
